爱思唯尔材料科学方向目前有100多本期刊，发文主题涵盖材料学科的方方面面，既关注前沿领域，也注重基础研究。
本次论坛将聚焦爱思唯尔材料科学期刊的4个重要研究方向，由主题期刊的主编和/或副主编们领衔：
- 7月9号下午：柔性功能材料与器件（主要包括柔性传感、柔性光电、柔性生物电子材料与器件、软体机器人等）
-7月10号上午：先进能源材料，助力可持续发展
-7月10号下午：高性能合金材料及其应用
-7月11号上午：基于预测设计的材料开发（3D 打印，增材制造等）

Elsevier Materials Science Portfolio currently has more than 100 well-established journals, publishing on topics covering all aspects of the materials field, focusing on both cutting-edge and basic research. 
The forum will focus on four key research areas in Elsevier's Materials Science journals, led by the editor-in-chief and/or associate editor of the subject journal:
- Flexible Functional Materials & Devices (including flexible sensing, flexible optoelectronics, flexible bioelectronic materials and devices, soft robots, etc.)
- Advanced Energy Materials for Sustainable World
- High performance alloy materials and their applications
- Future material discovery enabled by predictive design (3D Printing, Additive manufacturing, etc.)
