The theme of this session is "Development and application of new materials for extreme marine environment." Facing the major strategic needs of the south china sea, deep sea, open sea, and polar sea, we focus on the cutting-edge materials science and technology related to marine metal materials, marine composite materials, marine concrete, functional materials (buoyancy materials, drag and noise reduction materials, anti-impact and anti-icing materials, deep-sea sealing materials, etc.), protective materials, and conduct discussions around coupling damage mechanism of marine materials, marine corrosion and protection technology, surface and interface control methods for marine materials, surface precision manufacturing of marine equipment, creation and application of new materials.
