The World Materials Conference 2024 (WMC 2024) and Chinese Materials Conference 2024 (CMC 2024) will be held at the Guangzhou Baiyun International Convention Center from July 8 to 11, 2024. Hosted by the Chinese Materials Research Society (C-MRS), the conference enjoys collaborative support from prominent overseas institutions such as the European Materials Research Society (E-MRS) and the Materials Research Society of Japan (MRS-J). This grand dual event aims to gather international and domestic experts and scholars in the field of materials science.

WMC 2024 will cover a wide array of topics, including nanomaterials, cultural heritage materials, photo/electrocatalysis, sustainable development materials, low-carbon materials, renewable resources, and functional gradient materials. Simultaneously, CMC, with its successful track record of 23 editions as the annual academic event of C-MRS, will convene alongside, focusing on themes such as energy materials, environmental materials, advanced structural materials, functional materials, material design, preparation and evaluation.

Anticipated outcomes of this comprehensive event include stimulating international collaborations and propelling advancements in the field of new materials.
